Art is and has always been a very important part of my life. When I was in school most subjects were difficult for me to grasp. Art has always made sense to me and through art other subjects began to make sense. I have always used art to help excel in other subjects such as math, reading, science, social studies, etc.

I have been an artist since I was in pre-school.

For me, art is a language that transcends all subjects, cultures, exceptionalities and barriers. It is my goal for my students to create, learn, appreciate and understand the language of art.
